Coffee, black coffee. How are my nerves?
The first cup is steady, the second
still as a pond in a cave.
The third begins to stir in my hand,
small mammal at the end of hibernation.
Stingray Sam. It’s an episodic art-space-western-musical. Well it’s this hour-long film in chapters where Stingray Sam and the Quasar Kid have adventures on different planets and sing sometimes and there’s a girl and some super tiny robots and a villain named Fredward. Well, it’s the best kind of arty hilarious gorgeous weird, so it resists mere description. I loved it.
